“We see great demand for our modern and sustainable commercial spaces. Because while a large part of the newly rented space was no longer needed by a previous tenant well before his rental agreement expired, we were able to find new tenants within a short period of time - a win-win-win situation for everyone involved,” says Oliver Kuropka, Associate Director Development Light Industrial at SEGRO.

1,400 square meters are rented by Ebert HERA Esser Holding. The group of companies specializes in holistic solutions for industrial services at home and abroad. The company was referred to SEGRO as a new client of BNP Paribas Real Estate. Lichttechnik Hessling, one of the leading all-round companies for lighting and electrical systems in North Rhine-Westphalia, is renting 440 square meters. Nüthen Restautrierung, which covers 400 square meters, is a specialist company for monument preservation, natural stone work, stucco work and restoration. The tenant was brokered by EUREAL Property Advisors GmbH.

The SEGRO Park Düsseldorf-Süd is a revitalization of industrial areas on the site of the former Feldmühle paper factory, later owned by Stora Enso. The young commercial area was built according to modern standards for sustainable, ecological and energy-conscious construction. For example, wood from the region was used for the glued timber beams in the halls and the LED lighting is controlled via modern motion detectors and supplemented with plenty of daylight. Together with seating options in the countryside, this contributes to the tenants' increased well-being in their working environment. In addition to beehives, the site also contains insect hotels and nesting holes for local birds.

The area near the city center is located at Bonner Straße 317-363 and lies between the Reisholz harbor, the industrial terrain of the south of Düsseldorf and the Benrath residence, known for its castle and park. The SEGRO Park Düsseldorf-Süd is optimally connected to the motorway network and the airport and is around ten kilometers from Düsseldorf city center. There is a tram stop directly in front of the site. From there, the Holthausen subway station and Benrath train station can be reached in around five minutes.
